Cold Laser Therapy

SAFE NON-INVASIVE TREATMENT

What is Low-Level Laser Therapy?

Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a non-invasive light-source treatment that delivers a single wavelength of non-thermal photons to the body. Wavelengths between 660 nanometres (nm) and 905 nm can penetrate the skin and soft or hard tissues, positively influencing pain, inflammation, and tissue repair.

The MicroLight Smart Laser, with a patented wavelength of 830 nm, concentrates a single wavelength into one spot, penetrating 2–4 inches into the subcutaneous tissue. This optimises the immune response of the blood, providing both anti-inflammatory and immuno-stimulating effects by supplying vital oxygen and energy to every cell. LLLT can yield significant results in physiotherapy—reducing inflammation, relieving pain, accelerating tissue regeneration, and stimulating cell reproduction.

What to Expect from LLLT Treatment

The MicroLight Smart Laser is a Class IIIb cold laser with a 90-milliwatt (mW) power output that does not produce heat during treatment. Some patients may feel a slight tingling or tapping along a nerve pathway, or a mild warmth, but most do not notice any sensation.

During or shortly after a session, approximately 75–80 % of patients report immediate improvement. Outcomes depend on the specific condition and its severity. Many people see results in as few as 4–5 treatments, while others may need 15–20.

Neck Pain Sherman, TX

Neck Pain

Having neck pain can be extremely painful and uncomfortable. You forget how important your neck health is until you begin having neck pain.

Your neck, also called the cervical spine, supports the full weight of your head. The average weight of someone’s head is twelve pounds, making the neck very susceptible to pain.

Neck pain can be caused by many things, including sitting for long periods of time, repetitive moments, automotive accidents, and even falling. Everyday wear and tear can also give you neck pain.

During your first visit with us, we will do a thorough evaluation and ask you some questions. Ultimately, we want to find the exact root of your problem. By figuring this out, we will be able to be on our way to getting you to be pain free.

A neck adjustment is a quick motion that will help improve the mobility in your neck, spine, and overall range of motion. Patients typically notice a reduction in pain very quickly after being adjusted.
